I resumed my cruise along Route 66 this morning down as far as I-40 near Needles and took it west a little ways before getting back on the 66 and travelling across the county just south of the I-40.
I then cut north to enter the Mojave National Preserve through an area known as The Devils Playground.
Leaving the park saw me emerge at Baker on I-15 and so I headed west again for an hour and came to a stop for the night in Barstow.
